Networking Services (Routers)
If you have more than one computer that needs to be connected to the internet, you will need a router. Subscribers can use their own wireless routers for no additional fees or charges, or purchase one from the SkyHi retail store. Subscribers will have the option to pay an equipment usage fee to SkyHi for supplying, set-up and management of a wireless network router for signing a 1-yr service agreement. Technical support will be provided for networking services.

More and more households have multiple computers. With our home networking service, you can connect multiple computers in your household to the same fast Internet connection!
Home Networking (Wired and Wireless)*
A wired network uses wires to transmit data using an Ethernet connection. However, if your home is not pre-wired, SkyHi Broadband can install cabling from each of your computers to the home networking router, or central connection point. You can connect up to 4 wired devices to the router, such as an access point or other computers.
A wireless network transmits data through the air via wireless radio signals. You can use your laptop with wireless capabilities to roam around your home and up to 300 ft away from the wireless router– and still stay online! You can have as many devices connected wirelessly to the router as you want.

New subscribers may incur additional fees for custom installations (installations not considered “basic” such as wire-runs through the attic) or for any additional materials needed for connectivity such as wire runs longer than 100 ft or a taller antenna mast. Professional Installations will be available through California C7-Licensed Contractors. Networking services other than those listed above may incur additional charges, such as configuring more than one computer in a LAN. Other services, such as computer repair, may need to be performed before an adequate quality of service can be attained. Hourly rates for custom installation or networking services wil be billed at $65/hour. All subscriber equipment is the property of SkyHi Broadband and must be return upon termination of agreement. Damages above and beyond normal wear and tear are the responsibility of customer. Customer will be billed for damages.
