Email Information
The E-mail service we provide is hosted by Network Solutions. It is a complete POP 3 and Web-Based E-mail solution designed for professional use. Our e-mail has all the features you need - it works with most e-mail software like Microsoft® Outlook, protects you from viruses and unwanted e-mail (Spam), and it is 100% ad-free. Every SkyHi Broadband Service Plan includes 1 e-mail account; additional e-mails cost $5 per month per account._ The benefits of SkyHi E-mail service includes:

Web Mail – You can send and receive e-mails from anywhere in the world with a web browser like Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator rather than using e-mail software, such as Microsoft® Outlook._

Aliases – You can create up to three aliases for each primary E-mail account you have. Aliases are additional incoming E-mailbox addresses which allow you to create addresses for special uses, such as name@skyhibroadband.net, or business@skyhibroadband.net._

Spam Protection – Network Solutions has partnered with anti-spam industry leader Brightmail, Inc. to screen all incoming mail to reduce the amount of spam messages. The screening software employs the latest techniques to detect and delete unwanted spam messages before they get to your inbox.4

Virus Protection – E-mail from Network Solutions uses the Brightmail® Solution powered by Symantec™, to detect and clean viruses and Internet worms from all incoming messages, before they get to your PC. The anti-virus definitions are updated in real time to protect new threats from infecting your e-mailboxes.5

To set-up your e-mail included in the SkyHi Broadband internet service plan, please call 916-644-3300 after the installation is complete and you have signed the Subscriber Agreement. Once you have received your username and password, enter mail.skyhibroadband.net into the web address bar of Internet Explorer or another web browser. _ You must have the setting called "leave mail on server" enabled in your e-mail software in order for your messages to be downloaded to your e-mail software and to remain in the Inbox for view in the web mail interface as well.

The Fine Print
_Pricing and service offerings displayed on this page are for Standard Skyhi Broadband service only. Networking Services, commercial and business pricing and service offerings differ. Prices are subject to change. Speed comparisons are for downloads only and are compared to 768Kbps DSL and 56Kbps dial-up. Actual speeds may vary and are not guaranteed. Many factors affect download speedNetworking services other than those listed above may incur additional charges, such as configuring more than one computer in a LAN. Other services, such as computer repair, may need to be performed before an adequate quality of service can be attained. Hourly rates for custom installation or networking services wil be billed at $65/hour. All subscriber equipment is the property of SkyHi Broadband and must be return upon termination of agreement. Damages above and beyond normal wear and tear are the responsibility of customer. Customer will be billed for damages.

Agreement Terms - Basic, Standard and Advanced Service Plans require a 1-year service agreement. Termination Fee: (Standard termination fee of $99) + (the remaining value on the one-year Subscriber Agreement) All subscriber equipment used for connectivity remains the property of SkyHi Broadband and must be returned upon termination of agreement or service. Damages above and beyond normal wear and tear are the responsibility of the customer. Customers will be billed for damages.
